Mandalorian Wars Project 2.0

Mandalorian Civil War Background: When Jaster Mereel came to power among the Mandalorians, he changed the
way Mandalorian society worked. He drafted a guideline for Mandalorian behavior, hoping to purge the old
savage, dishonorable raider and mercenary ways. However, some opposed these reforms, and wanted to continue
with the old ways and eventually once again try to conquer the galaxy. So, they split from the Mandalorians,
and created the Deathwatch, lead by Vizsla. They waged war on the Mandalorians, and the Mandalorian Civil War
began.

Update: After a year and one day in limbo, I found the source files for this mod on the c drive. I'm done with CoD for a while, so I figured I might as well come back to modding (at least for a while). So, I went through the beta tester's reports again, fixed up any remaining bugs I could find, and I'm going to release the mod to filefront soon. However, since it's been a while since I've worked on this or even modded, I may have forgotten some of the bugs that I had intended to fix. So, if any of the previous beta testers want, I will make a beta 2.0 version for any final bug checks before the release, or I may just a GT public beta.

Plans for this project: This will be a project that adds the Mandalorian Wars era to all stock maps,
and will also add many new maps that follow the Mandalorian Civil War and Mandalorian Wars as canonically as
possible while still making the maps enjoyable.

I've also started adding a new mode, called bounty mode, where you play as Jango and complete various bounty hunter missions. So far, I have a mission for Kashyyyk and the Death Star.

Note: While there may be a few changes in the loadout, this is pretty much what I'm gonna stick with.
Maps planned so far:

Concord Dawn A work in progress at the moment
Korda 6 Havn't started, but when I do it it may have wave mode
Galidraan Still some bugs in campaign that need to be ironed out
Corelia-note: will not have campaign Have not started, but shouldn't take too long
Possible: Vizsla's ship

At the moment, I don't think any custom maps will be included in 2.0, except maybe Galidraan and Corelia.

As of yet, it is only the madnalorian civil war. I thought about adding the kotor mandalorian wars, but I didn't want to overload people with too many missions.

I really liked the first version of this mod, the only complaint I had was the non-updated flames on the jetpacks. Will you be fixing them this time? Other than that, its pretty awesome. :thumbs:

The flames don't line up with the exhausts of the Fett jetpacks.

They dont match with the fett style jetpack msh, and mine are just more flamy as well.

I have a problem with this mod, which is the same from the 1.0.

The skins for each side look to much the same except for the helments. If the armour could be changed a little, then it would look a lot better.

But other wise good luck

I liked this mod 1.0 quite a bit, but my one gripe was that the Melee unit with stealth was basically undetectable, and once they were on you, you couldn't react fast enought to avoid the knock-over blades.

I know that recognition was a big problem, and I've tried to improve this by making the deathwatch stand out a bit more in comparison, and each side has a different color cape (mando's is light blue, deathwatch is black) but sometime's it's still hard to tell. I may make the deathatch red or something, idk.

As for the melee trooper, I've put some work into making his invisibility less uber and reducing the power of his weapons. I'll see what the beta testers think of it when I send it out, though.

And Kinetos, can you send me the flames over xfire?

Nice work on the effect!

Don't mean to sound bossy, or pushy, but do you mind posting a list of who's beta testing? Just to see who made the cut or not? Or is it a pick-randomly-and-notify-via-PM-about-it situation?
