Textures missing when on highest lighting quality

I have the D2D version of SWBF2, downloaded with their classic DL manager (It wouldn't work any other way). My computer is a Gateway FX running Windows 7. It's SUPER powerful, but sometimes when I run a map, some of the textures go black/missing (the bumpmaps and etc. are fine most of the time). Reloading the map usually fixes this. Sometimes the map just crashes. I don't know why. Also at certain points it will be the smoothest thing ever, while a moment later under the same circumstances it will be really slow and choppy. Weird. I have DirectX 11.0...

When I change the lighting setting back to Medium, it fixes the texture problem but not anything else, I don't think.


*EDIT*

I downloaded DirectX 9.0c. It's fixed for the most part. Now it doesn't go black quite as often. But it still does. Sometimes even when it's on Medium it tends to go black. This is driving me insane, what could be wrong? And it's been days and still no replies?
