Crashed game after Installing Map Packs

Hey there, having just bought SWBF a week or two ago, I downloaded the map packs, being my first downloaded mods for BF, earlier this morning. I installed them as instructed, unzipping them into the addon folder. However, whenever I attempted to start a new game with any of the new maps, the game pauses, shows me the loading screen, and then crashes, giving me the option to send an error report to Microsoft.
What gives? Did I miss anything obvious?

Tell me, do the top 25 on the list work?
Just download some of the new releases and popular ones, those map packs are in most cases a few versions of maps behind and the first one has very old maps.

you also need to get 1.2 and (if possible) 1.3 beta patches.... also, as ACE said, most map packs have olldddd maps.

Yeah, you need the 1.2/1.3 patch to play mod maps. Also, remember that you can't have any more than 25 maps at a time, since it screws up your game. Hope that helps.
