Update: I was gonna do a shadow bump, BUUUUUUUT I figured this needed its own portion on the page. Plus it's the holidays, so I want this as a special post without all that extra stuff from above!
(if the admins are okay with that, if not, I guess merge this with the above post or something)

I never gave up on Lok, in-fact, still working on it, which brings me to this next thing I need to mention.

I completely am restarting it from scratch. A) Windows 7 does not like VisualMunge and considering it just made my map useless anyways, almost had no choice, BUT I got the sides over to the new template, so it's all fine. I still have the files, so, yeah. The fix didn't even help as it was stated that 'it won't effect any maps made prior to the fix'.

B) I figured a restart would allow me to work on what I want on the sides, considering I know what I want for the overall layout (taking what I had from the other WIP in mind and the overall vision and changing it completely), I can concentrate on these guys, and then add in the rest of the visuals, etc, later. Plus I have a computer capable of running BF2 on max again, so hah!

With that, I'll give a slight side update:
Recolored the Pirate Rifleman a bit

Brown and red. Don't see that color often, I think. Does seem a bit more 'pirate'ish, rather than a PMC. Brightened up the black bits a little, however it still looks too dark that it takes away the detail. Argh...

And now for the Pirate Grenadier!

That's more like it!

Though I think I'd rather a more appropriate Pirate-style grenade launcher. I was only gonna use the Packered Mortar Gun for the Imperials during GCW. Polish will come later, but I would like people to tell me what they would like to see for sides. This map is gonna be CQB (meaning no vehicles for now, I just want to go easy and get established, but turrets are possible)

A mix between balanced and canon would be lovely. I just need to turn the Rep CP's into the lovely Lok Revenant CPs by DarthD.U.C.K.! But progress is gonna go a lot smoother once I get my sides established. I already know what I want the map to look like, I just want to get this part out of the way as it's the most....what's the word? Yeah that word. Anyways, the quality and changes will vary depending on my need/want on a couple of things, also from community input.

If it's also not too much trouble, I would much love a few custom props if people are willing to make them for me. I have quite a few assets downloaded already, but if anyone could suggest some good SW-style factory things that are small-medium scale and aren't oversized, would be nice. If I have to I can rescale the Raxus Prime props I think (?)? Heh. But yeah, hopefully I'll get this out sometime 2013.

Work has been so....hectic. Heh. Anyways....

Cool, but you should use different faces for each one.

I'm pretty sure there are some good faces in the "Feel Free To Use My Skin Topic". All you'd need to do is convert the jpgs to tgas using GIMP and then add them to your skins.
