I doubt it, you will have the smallest flying place. And, I think Koolaid said it was a prop somewhere.

Yeah the N1 is a prop
I had an idea Kool Aid. That hole thing is driving me crazy. What if you had the hole shaped like a perfect cone instead so it looks like an infinite hole

But the what if you jumped in?

Then what? Wouldn't you see the bottem of the cone?_?_?

I like the pit better than a cone... It seems more realistic.

Actually folks, that's what I ended up doing: i used a cone for the pit. The thing is though, I made it deep enough so that the character selection screen pops up befor you reach the bottom of the cone. That way, i still have that "infinate" look, but without the polies of insane depth.

you're a genius Kool Aid
I like the cone a lot better, the other ting just looked like such a huge pimple on an otherwise totally hot girl
@Deathrow, he tried that but there are too many polys

).
Trust me these pics dont do them justice.
If you like I will take a look for the effect files if you want them.

Do you do special-effects for the star wars movies?

Ok, maybe that's going a bit far...

Progress update:
After watching the movie umpteen million times, I finally realize that I had the genroom catwalks misplaced. So, to counteract that, I need to go back and re-position everything. I probably might remodel some of the stuff too, just to make it look better.

Does anyone know
Star Wars - Complete Locations ? This book contains cut-away graphics and plans of any major Star Wars locations, including Theed Palace & Generator. So if I could get my scanner to work...but *psssh* anything further with PM. This also bears the risk that the plans might spoil the rest of your work, because things look different than from your perspective of viewing the movie. Interested ?

I don't have the COMPLETE collection, but I am basing my map off of the "Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Episode One," which basically is a third of the book you refer to. My problem stemmed from using that book, however, which is why I now revert to movie-reference only.
If you really want to get nitpicky, this is what I've found (for the genroom area)- that there are only TWO instead of THREE walways perpendicular to the main one. Notice in the book how the middle one intersects with the main one, yet it doesn't even exist in the movie. Also, my intial discovery was how these three ( now 2) walways connect to the walls. The book says they do, but movie says they dont. It just stops after the last ring. That's why I have to refer to the movie now, cause the two sources are different.
Wow, mouthful.
