How to replace Animations

Post by Bonecrusher16O »

Ok, So I downloaded Darth_Duck's dead unit animations the other day, and I read through everything and completed the steps to get the deadunit .anims, .zaabin and .zafbin files. But I do not know how to make my unit files read these animations. Any help?

Try adding these lines to the units odf:
AnimationName = "magnaguard"

But use the name of the new animation instead of magnaguard.

dead bodys will always disappear. the dead unit anims i made are for animated propswhich you can place as "decoration" in your map. the anims arent really useable for real units because they are each in one static pose like the character lying on his back. as a death animation for a real unit you need an anim where it is standing at the beginning and then falls down on its back.
