PC_ModelMunge Freezes Up

I've been getting this problem ever since I reinstalled the tools. Every time I clean and munge, or munge a map for the first time, when it gets to munging the models, it freezes up completely. Doesn't do anything. I let it sit and run for over half an hour, and it didn't make a single bit of progress. It hogs up the computer's memory as well. It uses 99% of the CPU. So my computer runs really slow. The only way to get it doing anything is to end the pc_modelmunge process. The rest of it munges fine. It's just the model munge that does it. I never did have this problem before I had to reinstall the tools, but when I was helping Elmo with his map, I got the same problem. I'm not really sure why it's doing it. It makes it difficult since it's almost impossible to munge a world for the first time, since the modelmunge never even does anything. It just sits there eating up 99% of the CPU usage and does absolutely nothing. I gotta get this fixed, since I had to recreate my Kessel world due to an error, and now I can't munge it, since it freezes every time. Anyone got any ideas?

OMG! you had to redo your kessel map? thats gota suck. I had the same problem, model munge got stuck and i had to open task manager to end it. Are you munging a blank world? or are some assets in the world folder?
Because mine stopped munging on a grass msh. from squiddies model pack. I had to delete it, and then everything worked fine.

You know why eddie's grass props take more than 2 1/2 hours to munge (checked myself, I went to bed, and two and a half hours later, it was still/i] munging!)? Because his grass props are EXTREMELY hi-res. They're a bigger size than the Clone Commando! They're very detailed, though...

No wonder... it stopped on the grass props every time. That must be why.

Also, I didn't have to redo the whole map. I had to create a new world and copy the essential files back in.
