How to edit Stock Space Maps?

Is there any way to edit a stock space map? I'm wanting to know how to set up the Paths, Barriers, etc. for my map.

Just follow this tutorial:

It works the same way with space.

I can't seem to do the same steps, because I can't find any Space map world files.
