What ship would you fly?

For me, I would have to go with the X-wing. Its such an iconic starfighter of awesomeness. I mean, how epic would it be to have one of those flying around now? Imagine the possibilities. Sure, I couldn't take my girlfriend for a ride in it since its only a single passenger fighter but oh well, I don't have one so it doesn't matter. The X-wing is a perfect fit for me. Not as fast as an A-wing and yet not as slow as a Y-wing bomber.
If there are any ships that I've forgotten (for which I do believe I have), can you guys tell me and I'll put them in the poll? Or you post pics of the ship that's not in the poll like what Guru did. Thanks.
EDIT:
I decided to disband the poll because so that you guys can just post whatever ships you want.

Sure you can. She can sit on your lap.
And I definitely agree with D.U.C.K.!

For imperials I would choose a TIE Interceptor, as for rebels I would choose a B-wing.

TIE Defender is definitely up there. It would be fun to fly around in a ship bristling with guns.

The Jade Shadow is another ship I would love to fly.

I would say the V-Wing Interceptor used during the Clone Wars and a short time during the rise of the Empire. It is fairly aerodynamic, making it fairly energy efficient as it is unnecessary to supply electricity to the particle shields during regular flights in an atmosphere, making it fast and deadly both in the air and in the charged plasma aether of space. Also, it's pretty fast in an atmosphere, and even faster in a near-vacuum. I would also choose it because I like the aesthetics of it. I understand the banking is necessary in the atmosphere in either direction for both left and right turns due to the constant repositioning of the gravity shielding devices under the hull. But it can accelerate pretty quickly with the plasma engines, and pretty safely due to the artificial gravitational effects within the vessel. Only problem would be the power involved. It would probably have to be recharged and refueled before every flight. But that's a small price to pay for a pretty cool ship.
Haha. Catch any of that?
EDIT: Actually, I think all I had to say was "V-Wing Interceptor".

X-Wing or A-Wing.
The X-Wing just has that nice classic feeling to it, while the A-Wing has that cool feeling to it. So sleek and incredibly fast.

I said B-Wing. Mostly because I pulled my Lego B-Wing off the shelf a few days ago. Their geometry is also the most variable, and variable geometry is cool.

Why would you want the A-wing? All you have to do is tie two rockets onto ya and there ya go! That's basically all there is to it. Sure its a really nice ship but it has less shields and can get destroyed real easily.

Ah, but if we're mere citizens of the galaxy, flying around and showing off to our girlfriends, what in SPACE would we need extra shielding for?
