*Possible Spoilers*
Besides Jovani the only place I've found fairy tears is on the 50th floor of the cave of ordeals. (The room right after where you were ML_916)
Or after you beat the cave of ordeals you can also get fairy tears at any of the springs
Yeah the Ice rooms are some of the hardest, watch out for those rooms. Well I have a funny story about the cave of ordeals. So I was on floor 13 or something in one of the "chu" rooms, now throughout the whole thing I hadn't bothered with chu's but I knew there remains either gave you health or oil. So thinking I better take all the health I can I drink the purple chu jelly, and if you don't know what that does it takes away almost all of your hearts. So then I have to be extremly careful and make it about twenty more levels with less than a heart before I had to use a fairy.
So my advice: Bring Magic armor, collect all the rupees that fall from enemies, and don't ever drink the purple chu jelly.

I beat the Cave of Ordeals yesterday. (And I only used three fairies and a walkthrough!)
The chu-chu, freezard, and bulbin archer levels are the worst. *big hint* on the floor with three Darknuts, you can get their armor off easy with some well placed bombs. After that, uh, then it gets hard.
Who here thinks that the cave should have several boss-rush levels at the end?

Guys, I have a way through the cave of ordeals that will only have to make you defeat one blue moblin. I haven't tested it yet, so I'm not sure if it's fake, but it comes from a reliable source.
*Major Spoilers About The Cave Of Ordeals Ahead!*
From what I've gathered, all you have to do is use the gale boomerang on the torches at each entrance of the room (before you jump down). This will open up the door and you won't have to defeat the enemies (although they'll still be there). Can anybody confirm this?

I didn't really have much trouble with the tree Darknuts, it just takes awhile. Don't attack until you see one raise its sword up then jump to the side and swing. Just be sure to keep your eye on the others to see if they're attacking. For after a Darknut loses its armor I've found the easiest way is to perform a back slice on it (the hidden skill) If done correctly, the Darknut will block it but be momentarily knocked back leaving it vunerable to attack. That's what I've found works for me
Regarding Rekubots rumor there is no way that could be true... I don't think... I still don't believe its true. I'll check when I have time.

The hardest floor for me was Floor 45. I was doing great up until then, but I kept getting frozen by the Redead knights and then the Moblins would pick me apart from there towers!
I did beat it on my first try through, but it was very close. Had 5 hearts left when I entered the last floor and had 1 left when I was done! Very tense battle!
Going to try going through without any fairies, potions or Magic Armor! (I used the Magic Armor a lot!)
I have heard Rekubots theory, but I believe it only works up to the 5th floor or something.

Well, here's a picture of the trick. I tried doing it yesterday but I know I was doing it wrong because I didn't look at this properly:
Apparently it only works on the Wii version of TP.
While I was trying to do that trick, I did the cave of ordeals second run-through. It's not much harder than the first time, and once again I only used two fairies + magic armor. What I really hate about the CoO is the ice spear enemies. You shoot a bomb arrow at them, then they retreat in the cloud of smoke so you can't see them, then when you think you know where they are they've conjured up another spear to block with! And when you're down on the ground, they'll just constantly lob their ice spears at you till death. They are the stupidest enemies ever in my opinion. Still, at least they're a challenge, but more in the way of "Battlefront II elite difficulty is a challenge". They're stupidly overpowered and it's so easy to be outnumbered.

I was actually very disappointed with Zant. One minute he's a creepy, eerie guy who you totally fear and then he becomes some stupid clown! It totally broke the tension and although it was funny, I thought that it was rather disappointing. I'm also annoyed about the fact that you fight him in the Snowpeak ruins; Zant isn't even supposed to know that it's an important room! He has no idea where the mirror shards went to.
Agreed. I beat the game yesterday after a friend at school gave me one small tip on what to do in the "Sky City" level. I was let down when I found out that Zant was just an insane cry-baby. As for the shards, there's a number of explanations that someone could come up with. For example, Zant could have read Link's mind or something.

I beat Oot recently, and it's probably the my second favorite game (behind Golden Sun: The Lost Age). The graphics might not be what you are used to with these next gen consoles, but any Zelda is a classic.
