I like it and I like the feel you're going for with this new streets map. I have one suggestion:
Although the feel you're going for is inspired by the dark times pic, make sure everything is still light enough for everyone to see how great all the new and edited stuff you put into it.

wow! it looks really good, the dark feel of it, and just the kinda gloomy atmosphere will give it a really nice touch.

Not sure if this map fits the Khimera setting, worlds don't have to look exactly the same all over, though.
It has an awesome atmosphere. Nice job, Yankfan.
And congratulations to Mav' for indirectly providing inspiration for such a nice idea.

from the pics above I understand the skepticism with it fitting with the Khimera theme. I am however currently working to fix that by adding a surrounding environment around the city. I'm also working to add some fog so it looks more like mav's pic

I was going to suggest that (a forest surrounding the city), recurring themes may help keep the overall feeling and remind the player that he is still on the same planet.

Yeah, that's one of the points that you wanted right YaNK? Either way I'm gonna suggest some stuff. My Diagnosis.(Nothing is wrong just what I think would be cool)
Add lights coming from some of the windows. Yellow lights, preferably, not compact fluorescents. (Blegh)
Add random effects, i.e. rain, thunder & lightning.
Add layers of combat, like don't make it so much as "flat," as "vertical."(I'll elaborate if you need me to.)
Add some of the "Eddie's Italia" buildings, they're some of the best custom structures out there. Just re-texture.
Add coherence and consistancy, you said you were going to do that though.
But as they stand, Awesome!!! I'd spell "Awesome" in all caps but then I'd get in trouble, Oh well.

I downloaded squipple's asset pack and found some objects in there if they are shipped than I should have them already

But they're retextured then. Hmmm... The way they looked in game was different than the shipped buildings. Why'd Eddie have to be such a good mapper! Other than that there were a few new models I know, tunnel's and such.

the tunnels are just rhen var legos retextured which i already have included in the map
so here are more teaser pics again this will feature same sides as Khimera if you look closely in the pics you can see the trees added in the background, desaturated roofs as well as the added mist (retextured dagobah with a lower alpha for anyone interested) the rainy sky is kashyyyk

Yes! The mist around your ankles will make it seem spooky, will you be altering the music to it? (I think the game's music for lots of the battles would ruin the atmosphere)

thanks for all the good feedback guys there will be no custom music I actually like one of the shipped tracks also should I add Laat/cs to the map and have them do the atte drop animation?

maybe you could place some more small objects in the "interiors"
it looks currently great but so... "basic/boring" (only concerning the interiors)
