Thinking of restarting Space Coruscant mod...?

Hey everyone!

It's been a long time since I last posted here! I had moved on to other projects but found myself drawn back here after about a year now. (Star Trek Online's "Foundry" sucks, and SWEAW doesn't allow me to create good multilevel maps) Armed with a new computer and a little more experience under my belt, I feel somewhat ready to redo my Space Coruscant project for Battlefront II, or possibly another map concept that's been rolling around my head for the last month or so.

After exams finish (in two weeks), I'll have plenty of time to recreate the project. I would like to know from you guys if any of you would be interested in such a mod.

**note that I no longer have the files from the released betas, so I'm starting from scratch.**
In a way, this is a good thing, as the original map had tons and tons of problems, despite following the exact instructions (music wouldn't work, textures couldn't be duplicated etc etc etc)
Hidden/Spoiler:
From memory, where I left off:
-Space 70% completed
-interiors 40% completed
-animations 80% completed
-other stuff about 50% completed (icons, sfx, etc.)
It'll be better this time around :D

I doubt you're going to get many people saying "no". Your old map looked to be quite fun.

Hey! It has been a long time, welcome back. If I recall correctly, and I do, your map was pretty highly anticipated. I'm sure everyone would like to see it started again. :)

God knows the site could use some activity... :o

I'd say go for it, but having seen multiple Space Coruscant maps fail since SWBF2 was released I'd say don't try to make it huge. Slightly bigger than Pandemic's will keep gameplay tight and not overwhelm you.

YES!!! That would be amazing! I and agree about the size, maybe not too big. Were you thinking about adding a playable mission objective portion of the level too?

Thanks everyone for the support! :D Exams have just finished, and I have the entire summer ahead of me.

Unlike last time, where I gave out constant updates on my work and planned features, this time I will keep this info to myself and only post updates when a beta or other prototype/unfinished work is done.

Let's just say, the project is underway again. :)
