Kit Fisto and Asajj Ventress

As promised, here are the heroes Kit Fisto and Asajj Ventress. They're released in .lvl format, and they should not be modified. They're similar to the heroes from the Conversion Pack, but these have been tweaked to make them a little more like the X-Box heroes. Changes include:
Asajj Ventress has her own animations (and .combo has been tweaked to make it more like the X-Box version)
Ventress was given Starblades (similar to X-Box, cannot be sure since I don't have the game for the system)
Kit Fisto has a new lightsaber model
Force Bubble attack's effect tweaked (particle effects added to bubble to look more "realistic")
Kit Fisto's .combo "fixed" - there was a hidden melee combo included but it was previously inaccessible
Shadow issues with Kit's head resolved

To use these:
Load kit.lvl or asj.lvl as a custom side, and call for the correct hero name. Be aware that when using these heroes, they take up more animation/combo memory than the stock heroes, and as such you can't load a whole lot of stock heroes along with them (and you can't load both Kit and Asajj in the same level). This is why, for example, Kit only shows up on Alderaan in the Conversion Pack.

There was a
very important reason I left that out - the game can't handle that amount of animation data when you're making a Hero Assault mode. Kit eats it all up and causes crashes. I know you mentioned that, but you may want to bold it and make it colorful so people see the warning.
Also the Ventress model is rubbish, but you already knew that (and it isn't your fault). The face is so... masculine.
All in all something a lot of folks have wanted for a long time, so awesome job.

Kit and his animations (expecially the melee attacks) are awesome!
but i don't like Asajj... why she has 2 lightsabres in 1 hand?

There's supposed to be a cord between her two sabers (see picture below), but that doesn't work on the PC.

Not true.. I actually did it. But the saber really moved as if it was on a cord: this way you kept slashing yourself
Still, with good anims it would be nice.. I'm sure
Maybe i finish these anims one day ^^

Except with the way the .anims file was set up, all that animation data was still there (which was how I could restore it, all the animations the model had I could see in the .anims file). Which is why we
still couldn't make a hero assault mode with Kit, even without the punch combo.
If you want, we can make this edit for the patch - we can either have "animation-heavy" Kit with the punch combo or "animation-lite" Kit without. Either way, we should make one of the changes, because the way Kit is set up now, he's the worst of both worlds - he has all the animations being called, and not all of them being used.

Unfortunately it's also necessary to have the two-saber combo look like the X-Box version. Without the weapon attach points set as they are on that model, her animations look really goofy - as you may already know.

Let's just go anim-heavy. Might as well.

Except that the particular way
this model (cord) was set up, it won't work on PC. The "cord" is part of the playermodel (which is, as I'm sure you know, the only way to do it) and as such if it were done as a cloth or maybe a fancy tentacle it could work. However, the problem isn't that, it's the way the hps for the sabers are set up. Without deconstructing the model (and with my limited XSI knowledge), I can only infer that the hps used to "hold" the lightsabers are themselves animated, but they're weighted differently (possibly enveloped to different bones, too) than the actual place they start out. For whatever reason, this doesn't carry over into the PC version.

Wow. Now I see why people wanted Kit so bad.
Unfortunately, I can't use him in my side mod. He can't jump far enough.

o.o Is that melee attack Kit Fisto has something new, or am I just plain oblivious and didn't know how to use it in the Conversion Pack?

You must hold the right mouse button and then click with the left.
Thats all

That is not all, actually. You're thinking of Luminara's ground-pound, which she does if you leftclick then rightclick quickly. Kit's is different.

I always wanted to see a kick combo in BF2. Mav, you are genius.
