Well, actually we still had one of the games installed (Bejeweled 2) and that might of been interfering with it cuz we couldn't find it in the Programs & Features and then I decided to just remove it and the upgrade finally worked! I'm sooo happy!

maybe it had a compatibility issue and the upgrade wouldn't continue (I had that actually)
