I can't post on the SWTOR forums and I don't have a reddit account so i'm paying forward my SW Celebration Cantina code here:
http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/4az2f
The code above is good for 5 people and you can redeem it for some free stuff ingame.

Thanks, Ace! Redeemed it. Since I got my own code by using yours, I'll edit my post with my code once I give a couple of my personal friends a chance to use it.

Thank you as well Ace! I've used one redemption as well. Since I don't really have anyone else who can use this, I'll post my referral code below.

Actually I've been wondering, how many people on this board actually play TOR and where?

I used to play, until I dropped 50 bucks and realized how much of a pay-to-win game based on grinding but not on combat.

While the notion of what defines excessively grindy varies by person and content type, TOR isn't pay-to-win by any definition of the word, none of the cash shop items have any stat value in the game and exist for pure aesthetics.

The term you're probably looking for is pay-to-grind. A term used by War Thunder players extensively because paying money just shortcuts grinding time, but doesn't give you any kind of edge over the other players.

Actually it's more like pay-to-level-faster, since all of the cash shop items that aren't straight cosmetics are all level bonuses. None of the endgame stuff is effected, although at endgame you really do need to have a sub.

I don't think it looks that good on body type 3 though.

I've already got the Stalwart Protector Armor from the cartel market on one of my toons. I thought it was close enough to Havoc Squad
I REALLY want that duster that comes with the new companion, though... I'll have to extend my subscription a bit, I wasn't going to bother during the school year, but the thought of being able to make Malcolm Reynolds in Star Wars is too good to pass up.

No environment map outside of the visor. No weathering. Helmet proportions radically different than source. Coloration looks like it was done with the paint bucket tool.
Vanilla leveling gear looks better than that crap.

Yeah I pulled the helmet and visor model from the assets to get a better look in XSI and it just looks weird.
It looks like it was rushed out just to get folks back into the game. I've seen better fan made models of this armor.

Hmm I might have use for that link in a few months.
I miss the quality of vanilla trooper gear.
In other news I made a video showing off Troopers and Hunters, because I like Troopers and Hunters.
