XSI error (solved)

OK well I've been working on modeling for a whole 2 days now, and I've made some models.
But, I just now wanted to change the interface for it to be a little more user friendly for me. So, I go to the edit layout button. I DON'T change anything yet. I first want to move it a little up, but instead I accidentally hide the window (by using the little double-sided arrow that comes up when you put the mouse on the edge of the window) and then I open it back up (same way) and there's nothing that's displayed anymore, so I wanted to close the window only to realize that there are no buttons to save or close the window. So I went through all the toolbars on the main window and there was nothing that could get rid of it. Then, I just just closed XSI. I opened it up again and there's this message:
Image

After I click ok, XSI closes and shows the error report box (just like if it would if the program froze and then I had to "end task" it).
This happens every tiem I open up XSI.
So I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling XSI and the error still comes up upon opening.
Any ideas?

Try some of these solutions:
http://xsi.wiki.softimage.com/index.php ... em_failure

I would try renaming the user folder solution first:
for example, rename:
C:\users\steve\Softimage\XSI_5.11
to
C:\users\steve\Softimage\XSI_5.11.bak

Awesome! Thanks, the rename folder thingy worked.
