Cut chambers into a model

Post by AceMastermind »

Terraincutters are for cutting through terrain, not models.
To make chambers in the model, you'll need to get the model into/or create the model in your 3d app and stencil the shape of the opening out with the knife tool, add edge tool or something similar and extrude the inner polygon outward. You could also boolean the wall with another object that is shaped however you want the opening to look, but if you use boolean then you should isolate the polygon that the operation will be performed on since it will save you time removing stray edges as a result of the boolean operation.
