Who's Using What to Play SWBF2 Multiplayer?

I'm not sure if a topic like this was created before, but who is using what to play SWBF2 multiplayer? From what I understand most people are using GameRanger or GameMaster. Anyways, I'd like to hear what everyone is using.

Game master is the exe edit, right? If so, then I'm using that one.

Well Gameranger is laggy and has annoying people, but has most players.
Gameshare is emptier, but my clan/friends all use Gameshare so I'm there more than likely.

I use Gameranger.
I'll have to look up GameMaster as I am unaware of what that is.
And yes, there are a TON of jerks and low-lives on Gameranger unfortunately - I experience this first hand every time I play.
I think Steam still supports SWBF2, but I don't use it.
Gameranger is just a connection service - it just allows you to connect to other people's computers. It is peer-to-peer so the lag will depend on the host's and your connection.

I don't play online at the moment. I concentrated to relase my mod. But now that it is finished, i'll have a look at it.

P.s: Is there any tutorial to create a local server (from my pc) to host Star wars battlefront 2? I have a application pc server v1.1, but i don't know if i can use the new patch v1.3 in both. Mainly for test.

Yes, you can install v1.3 on whatever. Only the host needs to have v1.3. Just make sure you select the correct path with install v1.3 to the dedicated server. It doesn't auto-detect the path like it does for SWBF2.
The only reason to install v1.3 on a dedicated server is to run custom user scripts or for maps that use v1.3's utility functions.
Sadly I don't have time to play any games anymore.

The GameMaster instructions were realy easy for me to understand. So i'm using GameMaster now.

I use GameRanger to test modding with friends and I haven't yet touched GameMaster.
