Adding a rancor

Ok, two questions
1) How do I make it so that a rancor that i add actually moves, eats people, etc
I know that this has something to do with munged animations, but frankly, I have no idea what that means (sorry I'm kinda Computer Illiterate
).
2) Is it possible to animate an existing, working rancor, so that it will move around the map?
I know how to animate pretty well, but I'm just wondering if it would still work. (EDIT: by this i mean making it move around the map in zeroedit.)
