Sound converter

Post by Dakota »

i've followed this tutorial for adding custom music to my map.

http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... &sk=t&sd=a

it would work for me but my bf1 munger won't munge the sound files because they aren't converted to the right thing. i need a better audio converter as my one can't get near...
traditionally in 352 kbps, 16 bit, mono, 22 kHz PCM mode, but this is not required.
if someone could link me to a good, free, and virus free, audio converter it would help me greatly.

Try Audacity, it's very powerful. If you need help, PM me or add/ask me on Xfire.

Also, if you're adding custom music or ambient sound streams, PLEASE keep their format at stereo with a 44000 Hz sampler, and effects the same but mono. I grind my teeth whenever I'm forced to listen to crappy, mono, low quality audio when it could easily be high fidelity.

at first i thought that was for changing sounds in ways of pitch, speed, and stuff like that, like a voice editor that makes your voice sound deeper. i looked up "sound converter" on google and it didn't come up so i just never downloaded it.

downloading now.

I personally use Free Audio Editor, it does all that Audacity does and it has a better interface IMO.

Free Audio Editor

Just leaving options out there.
