Wow good work! I think you really nailed what you were going for here. Really got the halo-vibe from the map and the attention to detail on the units and equipment is spectacular

PS: Back on this site after 7ish years and this is my first post since, crazy to see all the great mods/maps that I missed and that are still being made despite the new battlefront coming :D

OK i played the map yesterday. My report:

I played as second driver on the trando tanks, and i cannot see anything, because the camera is somewhere in the vehicle. I would like to see sereja's acp shotgun because it is much more detailed. The RC HUD looks bad on 16:9 screens (the borders of the helmet), the light from outside (behind you) colors the Helmet, the HUD Icons are half behind the backdrop, but i think i already reported that for your kashyyyk map and for RAS Proescuter.
I realy love what you did with the model flags, bumb-/normal-/...-maps. They look much better than pandemics models (RC, wookie, weapons) the trando skin looks a bit like it's a kind of plastic. Maybe you can change the flags/maps to make it look more like skin. The new wookie weapons and side gives a great new feeling to play. I realy hope there will some guys using this map on a server for multiplayer. That would be really fun.

One question, how did you made the bolt effect for the wookie rifle?? i was looking for something like that for my sniper rifle, but found no way to get it working.

AQT... i saw many maps since i am here, some very cool, others funny, but you always keep the perfect quality on the three important things, Sides, Map and Configs (Effects, Lights) .
Another great job sir !!

^He summed it up right. :D

CTF was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. Im very impressed with what was done for the effects and weapon properties.

Glad you all are enjoying the map!

First person view wasn't meant to be enabled on any of the vehicles, so I must have missed that for this particular position. If you enter the gunner position in the third person view, then it will work fine.
the light from outside (behind you) colors the Helmet
It's intended for the "HUD" to be affected by the environment lighting.

It's simply a beam.

I played through this map and I have to say I had more fun on it than I had in a while on any SWBF2 map. Very fun, well made, has a very "Bloodgulch" feel to it.

I have one question/suggestion, if you don't mind. Have you considered making a Hunt mode for this map? Where we would be able to play as the CIS/Mandalorians in the hills? I think it'd be a nice addition to the map.

Thanks for making this.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it too!

I did consider adding a hunt mode at one point using those units, but decided against it. The CIS and Mandalorian units were mainly designed to serve as simply minor annoyances/campaign NPC enemies. They wouldn't really be fun to play as, in my opinion. I might add a hunt mode of some sort, perhaps in a future revision.

Very fun. Two flag is really hard to score but that makes it a nice mode to just sit back and shoot stuff.

My only suggestion is that you move the location of the ammo and health droids because the turrets in CW have a annoying habit of constantly killing them.

Amazing map! Awesome gameplay, extremely nice models and weapons really fun to play with. The sound effects also bring the feeling of being in an intense battle to the next level (I wonder what it must be like to play this map in an 5.1 Surround System). Plus, all the beautiful visual effects and those lasers going everywhere... :faint: I can't find enough words to explain how good and memorable this map is.

I absolutely loved it. Nice work!
