How do u download it?

When i saw this for the first time, i squealed like a wamp-rat being roasted. XD Skin changing in game makes me so happy! But may I make a suggestion? Maybe have it only affect units that have not yet spawned, as TBH bit weird having troopers suddenly change colour!

I don't think that's possible, sorry. However it is this way for the commands that change armor.

Ah well massive improvement anyway! XD Oh did you say in your last you-tube preview you were going to release the code to do this once you'd finished it?

So I don't seem to be able to get this to work.... :/ Open the console, nothing to do with skins comes up.... Boo! Any ideas? I put it in the steam folder > common >SWBF2 > Game Data > Data > _LVL_PC and then several other places, cant get it to come up, deffo have the most latest 1.3 as it was the one with the installer, also my conversion pack isn't working, although BFX is... .:/

Do you have other custom FC commands? If not, I'm afraid I don't have the faintest clue what could be wrong.

No, obviously this is a mod, not a game, so I don't expect tech support, but though I should tell you there was a problem, I'm downloading the "lite" version now i case there was a corruption problem, is the 1.3 patch the only thing I need to run it? Could it be a steam thing?

But yeah, I verifed my game cashe, De-and reinstalled everything, got compatibility to work, (lighting and LoD were too high), but not skins in the face console. :/ Anyway, maybe it's my fault. But maybe it's just that. Could it be something about the fact I'm using a laptop with an integrated graphics card?

edit: Could you maybe send me a LUA command which would activate one of the skins? And then I'll enter it in? See if it's not installed propery or isn't jsut showing up in the console? You have my word I'll delete it afterwards if you like?

Oh, and sometimes after I use console commands, it won't let me spawn, and the if I change teams I spawn, but it won't let me spawn on the other team..... ~~I think it might be a problem there.... ;/ any ideas?

Hmmmmmmm, is there anyone who has used the skin pack who has it on steam? Or is there any refferances in the code that might get muched up if it's not in C:program_files/lucas arts?

Is there anyway to merge the mod into the console itself?

I assume that the latest version of 1.3 is the ONLY, one with an installer yeah?

Right, well it deff works for dj cos that where I tripped over this and re-sparked my interest in SWBF2.....

Nope did not come with a skin mod.... I've put everything in the skin mod in every folder I can imagine it might work, LVL_PC, SIDES, etc, that said is it possible that the 1.3 patch from the conversion pack is over-riding the separate 1.3 patch (I'm defo usin r128)?


Can I just check the 1.3 is supposed to be floating about in the main DATA folder an not in an addon folder? And that it's the whole skinchanger folder, not just the content that are supposed to be in LVL_PC?

Lexi Error alert, I downloaded both R127 AND r129, installed the wrong one XD DERP. Sadly my r129 download was corrupted, so I'll need to re-download.

I'll let you know if it works, sorry for bothing you over my on stupidity (Used to TW games, which need to be manually installed, auto-installers turn my head around.

Apparently, not, downloaded the RIGHT version and still not working.... no idea why. Trouble shooting now.

It's been a while since i've posted a progress update. I am currently pushing towards releasing a v0.6 Beta. Unlike the previous releases, the new content in v0.6 will focus entirely on the Rebellion and Empire. Mainly because, with the recent release of EA's Battlefront and The Force Awakens I've been more interested in the GCW era. If all goes well, I should have v0.6 ready sometime this month or the next.

Now for a poll: Which of the Shadow Troopers pictured would you rather see in the mod? Or should I include them both somehow?
