1. How do I get rid of the default 4 cps?
2.how do I make something underground? Like a tunnel, do I have to have and object for that?

1. For Conquest:
- Go to the Conquest layer
- Go to Object mode and delete all objects
- Go to Region mode and delete all regions
- Go to Path mode and delete all paths
For Hero Assault:
- Go to the ELI layer
- Go to Object mode and delete all objects
- Go to Path mode and delete all paths

Um, this may be slightly off topic, but terrain cutters: are they in Zero Editor, and if not, where can you get them?

You place them in ZE. They show up as pink wireframes; in-game they're invisible and have no collision. They cut a hole in your terrain. However, that's all they do. They don't make tunnels or rooms or anything. Just a hole. For those sorts of things you need to make a new model in XSI or another modelling program.

Also there are tunnel odfs in the shipped assets.
here are some, these are loaded into zeroeditor:
(note that not all of them have terrain cutters)
the 'Hot' folder has:
hoth_bldg_tunnel_exit ----------------a tunnel exit w/ terrain cutter
hoth_bldg_corridor_natural------------a cutterless natural looking tunnel
hoth_bldg_3way_natural---------------a natural looking 3 way tunnel
hoth_bldg_corridor_cut----------------a flat-edged tunnel
hoth_bldg_corner_natural------ -------a natural looking bent tunnel
hoth_bldg_chasm------------------the cave-like part of the hoth map (w/out bridges)
hoth_bldg_hangar_center--------------the hangar w/out entrance
hoth_bldg_bunker ------------------- a bunker with a tunnel and cutter in it
hoth_bldg_large_hangars --------------?
hoth_bldg_command_center -----------an addon to any tunnel
hoth_bldg_small_chamber_natural------a bent tunnel w/ a room
'dag':
dag_prop_cave-----------------------the underground part of the map
'geo':
geo_bldg_bunker (1 & 2 [in & out])
geo_prop_geonosian_vent------------a hole w/ cutter
geo_prop_geonosian_lair [1 & 2]-----a purely aesthetic hole that cannot be entered
and I think that the polis massa assets contain tunnel-like objects.
