I have seen this issue before, I remember when there was this Shock Troopers side mod available, people used it to replace that red legion from the conversion pack, it worked fine for a couple seconds, then it crashed to desktop.

The game tries to load the convo pack units but it ends up having to deal with the new sides instead, there are some important things missing, bla bla bla and it crashes, something like that.

You can't just replace things and expect them to work, there are incompatibilities.

There are some sides mods compatible with the convo pack, though, you should try them.

Yep -- and truthfully a lot of smaller side mods are broken and and of themselves, and cause crashes. The Convo Pack legions should be what you use. Otherwise you'll just have trouble.

I know what your saying but I have not put any new side mods in apart from ones that work with the convo pack (like dark times and BF zero) and the maps have never worker even after i reinstalled the game and pack it loads and then crashes

Hey, for some reason after I reinstalled the 2.2 Patch, I get no loadscreens for the maps. Anyone know why?

Uninstalling the 2.2 patch would have uninstall the entire pack. Reinstall the full 2.0 and then the patch.

The Conversion Pack does not work with the server manager. I'm fairly certain that mods will only work with the server manager if all their data is in the addon folder, and since The Convo Pack adjusts some of the other folders, I think that's the reason it won't work with the server manager.

You can just start the server with a .bat file, then fire up the server manager.

Why wouldn't it? There could be a problem with the older versions of the 1.3 patch, but if you search for newest one you should'nt encounter any problems.

You replace it by deleting the map and then installing the Convo pack.

hello guys first of all im new here :) and i know this is a little too late but before a year or two i unistalled SWBFII because i had finished it and had learned all of its maps like the back of my hand!
But then, i figured out that u exist Maveritchell and u are a great SW MODDER so i re-downloaded SWBFII just 4 u !! Well, i have though one problem with your mod. I installed it as u recommended and i think i have the latest patch already.. Dont think that i have problems with your maps but when i am on the instant battle session where i play with bots the name of your maps including the new modes end era havent got their original names.. for example it says map.mapname.75%B something like that. what do u reccomend me to do Maveritchell??

Welcome to Gametoast. Well, I'm not Maveritchell, but from where did you download your copy of the game? Depending on the location, most mods, like this Conversion Pack, won't work properly with some downloadable versions of SWBF2.

I just installed the Conversion Pack 2.2 on a dedicated server and have it on line for testing with a few AI running around. I've noticed what appears to be a bug in at least 2 of the hunt maps.

at4c_hunt Naboo Plains Clone Wars

end1k_hunt Endor Bunker Knights Of the Republic

In the case of Naboo I noticed the server stopped cycling maps. When I joined I saw that there were no spawn points for Gungans, only for the CIS. I restarted the map and have no seen a recurrence on Naboo

I noticed a similar issue on Endor, when I joined there were only spawn points for the KOR, none for the Sith. I restarted the map. and played for a few minutes as KOR but then all the control points were simultaneously captured, this time for the Sith. I went to all the CP's and found I could recapture them using the CP in the bunker. It appears the Ewok AI are capturing the CP.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I could HEX edit the map on the server side and try to remove the capture regions.

Are you sure those are the modes seeing issues? They seem to work as they should in SP, and what you're describing ("spawn points for the KOR") isn't even a part of Endor KotOR hunt (it's just Ewoks vs. Sith troopers).
