Custom side link for SWBF2
I have been wanting to make custom sides. I downloaded one program but it was more like a another mod tools. I was wondering if someone would give me a good link to one for a first timer. thanks

Uh, the modtools are all you need.

This really your best resource. I don't know of any program that allows you to build everything you need for a side but this tutorial should be helpful. You can look at one of the shipped sides for guidance and the doc BF2 Jedi Creation is helpful (and it's not just for Jedi, most things apply to all sides
)

yah, unless your wanting to make whole new mesh's than youll be fine with what you have. try fierfek's tutorial on mapping (if the above link does not go to it) it really helps out and it teaches all of the basics that you can possibly do with the modtools. (an exeption of downloading GIMP image thing) but that is not neccasary.
