I'm with Dann, I really, really wish Hollywood would just stop making movie adaptations of everything. But I would be lying if I said I'm not interested on this one, Spider-Man is my favorite comic book hero (or was, before they rewinded the timeline again with that stupid pact with the devil stuff) and I am kind of curious to see how they will handle things (I'm REALLY hoping for a better Venom).

Besides, it can't be worse than Spider-man 3, right? What with all the out of context prolonged musical sequences. I'm all for variety in a movie, but that part came out of nowhere and was completely pointless, not to mention silly.

It's a pretty good article and hopefully bring some faith to this spider-man movie.

That trailer is a bit old, (I remember seeing it last week) but it looks awesome anyway. :D

Don't you just hate it when there's a song you know, and yet you can't name it? I know the song in the trailer, it starts at 2:29 and ends at 2:58. It's from a group I like and it's a song I like...

Now, time to send the entire night searching for it.

Search began 4:14 AM EST, May 17, 2012.

And I'm meh in regards to the movie. Nice trailer but, trailers generally make a movie to look better than it is (case in point, Battleship).

Wait, how did you ever get the idea that Battleship might be good from the trailers?

This. Then I watched a review of it after it was released in the UK, he's barely in it at all. Like, all his footage in the entire movie was seen in the trailer.

Oh and my musical search ended thanks to Twlight_Warrior and Shazam!

A message to everyone:
Go see The Amazing Spider-Man.

It's a fun and exciting Spider-Man film that is well worth your time. (And money :P )

Mild Spoiler:
Hidden/Spoiler:
I thought the soundtrack was subpar compared to the 2002 film's score, but it still worked decently well with the movie.

Stay after the credits :)
Hidden/Spoiler:
Thats either Willem Dafoe or a person who does his voice extremely well. Hello Green Goblin

I am not familiar with my Dafoe so I didn't recognize a face/voice. HOWEVER, I did notice the tall, gangly build, and my personal inclination/hope is that it's Vulture, which makes more sense as he was more of a jailbird (no pun intended) than the head honcho at Oscorp.

That said with the role Oscorp played I'll be incredibly surprised if GG doesn't show at SOME point, I just tend to think that wasn't him. Time will tell.

Willem Dafoe had already expressed no interest in this reboot of the franchise, so he won't be playing Norman Osborn/the Green Goblin anymore.

Agreed. I didn't think the soundtrack was as good.

My only really gripe with the movie outside of Sony making it just to keep the rights, is they
Hidden/Spoiler:
Messed up Uncle Ben's saying with something that felt like an off brand version of it. Why would they do that? And I hope the dude in the jailcell is mysterio and the lizard becomes anti-hero in this series.
