I think there is a tutorial for changing the ingame lighting:
1-Set your light colors all to 255
2-Burn the terrain
3-Lower the light colors back down until you get to a point where the objects & terrain match, then save (do not burn terrain again)

EDIT:Unless you are talking about Ambient lighting in wich case:
Go to lighting in ZE
Look on the right for the Ambient Lighting box
Type in the numbers of the color you want.

Well, I followed the first part, but Im not sure.

I will test it ingame and see.

I need my terrain to be dark, and with teans method, on ze the terrain is light.

What do the ambient lights do?

Well, hers what I will try. If teans thing didnt work, then I will set the terrain to what I need and try again.

Wait, I think ive been doing ambient all this time. I did what tean said with the light thing on the right....

UPDATES!!!!

I havent seen it in game, but If what I did was right, my terrain should be much darker.

I raised the canyon a bit, so it wouldn't look so terrible.

I figured it was the sky that made the terrain burn my eyes, so I gave it a dagonah sky.

IT LOOKS COOL in ZE.

I raised the terrain everywhere so there wouldnt be too many floating things. Im still working on adding more cps, locals (havent even started them) and possibly getting tanks in.

Does anyone know what I have to edit in the sky file to change the terrain color? Im sure there is comething in there that relates to the terrain.

Well, my tuskens are in one place so far, and the scripting is done, testing will be done later today. I have tuskens spawning right at a republic base, which happens to be a tusken camp.

I have to add multi0ple tusken spawnpoints at their bigger camp, then when they roam into the city, ooh boy! I still have more canyon raising to do, I want it low, but so you can fall in and live.

Im adding cps in the conyon, with one cp at the middle, so sniping off the ship is fun. I made the imp ship cp controlled by the CIS, so that it adds some spice up.

TO DO:
Other tusken spawns
Jawas
Rep and CIS skins (Rep may be complete, Im not sure If Im gonna use the old ones though.)
Terrain work.

Im not sure what they do, but I will give the tusken hunter or raider, or just a tusken, the gaffi stick.

I wont give jawas anything but health/ ammo packs, since there isnt anything to fix in this mod, except for turrets, which should stay dead.

Silve, if you can make the red skins I asked for, name them correctly (the way they are named in the folder) , and save them as .tga I would be happy! Just give them a REALLY SIMPLE blood red layout.

Actually, sorry for the double post, but this deserves its own post, but if all goes well, I should have a non skinned map layout beta soon. Just to see what you like and dont like in the maps layout.

Yes, VERY VERY simple, black and red.... make it look shiny though...

Something like the anagurya ones. I like those. I just need some red.

Well, I didnt munge after I added the tuskens, but my lighitng is still off (or I think I did lighitng before I munged)

So, IM not sure about turkens, but the dagobah sky doesnt work, too much fog, and it just doesnt fit, so Im back to square 1 with sky. Choosing the right one. I may use naboo, or if nothing works, I will just make this a daytime Tatooine.

NO I mean a nightime shade of blue. Like its night, but the moon gives it a dark blue feel.

Like Kashyyk at night in the movie when the walkers are looking for yoda, and the sky and ground is blueish.
