Using Heavy Troopers helps take them down as well. Rockets to the neck.

...or mines. interceptors work well too, or at least the trifighter worked well against atte's. only 2 strafing runs, tops.

i like the map alot, however i think the ground textures are a little dark, but thats just my opinion. I also didnt get any sound effects while in most vehicles (laser cannons, missiles, the sound of them flying or moving,etc.). But it is a very nice map and it seems to take alot longer to beat then just about all other maps. very nice work captain mazda.

here some feed back:its an awsome map
can u put in the pilot
and can u get rid of the fog of war cause when u r flying u can't see much except white if u want to keep the fog of war can u make the sight range bigger and have the fog of war a bit like geonoses were it's orange like sand swirling up
but so far a really good map :eobi:

I love the map, but it could use a bit of tweaking... maybe add a light source and shadows or something.
Also, taking AT-ATs down is easy with A-Wings and X-Wings. You just have to aim for the necks.

Taking down the AT-ATs is somewhat too easy. All you need to do is get in a A-Wing, aim at the necks from a good distance, and with a few seconds of lasers its down.
BTW the AI needs some work in the flying area, because when I do rarely see another starfighter or transport, it ends up crashing before I can blow it up.

Streamlining the clones would also be cool.

Ok, well the 1.1 release will be coming soon. It will fix a few problems, however sound is still a bit dodgy. Perhaps sounds for the X-Wings and TIE Fighters are possible at the moment. The AI will no longer attempt to cross the bridges with an AT-AT, AT-TE, or any tank for that matter. They do it well with infantry and speederbikes. I will be working on adding water, death regions for the pit and ravine, and maybe even the 92nd Corps Clone Legion, the actual legion deployed during the Battle on Saleucami. I've been talking to DFYX who has agreed to help me out in this department. I'll see what's coming up, but I do want to make sure that this map is completely finished in a week or so.
Setting up a deadline for myself might help if I want this to be a memorable map, just like Rends' "Coruscant City" was for BFI.

That fog of war allows this map to be played online

Eh, I'm not too big of a fan on people making deadlines like that. The last thing you want is to rush the map and make mistakes in the process. I say take your time and when it gets done, it gets done.
Thats not saying you should slack off... but take your time with it.
Another reason I'm not too much of a fan on setting deadlines is because if the dead line isn't met... You'll at least have one or more people bringing it up on at least the official forums (I dunno about on here).

Create a folder and name it "SAL" if you haven't already. Then place the "data" folder and "addme" file into that folder you just made. Then place it into the "addme" folder with all the other mod maps.
That worked for me at least.
I unzip my files to desktop first, so I caught this problem real quick and corrected it without thinking about even bringing it up.

Captain Mazda, I totally love this stuff! Keep up the great work! If you've need of anything of me,pm me or something. And give me a list of to do things. I make skins, for example, though they sort of ... well, hmm, alot of people seem to have fallen in love with my 515th Mountain Corps dudes. But those guys were like, I dunno, made up. Still cool ideas can roam around in peoples memory banks for a extended period of time. I've been listing a huge list in my head since day one of these awesome mod tools. I will help wherever possible, Mazda, whether it be getting more intel of the sides/weapons or coming up with new map ideas. Something like that. I would though, like to see a hand made Utapau, but that'd take AGES, and alot of fine placement and coding. I will think of anything that comes to mind. RSL out.
Shazzzing!

This is a very well made map but the lack of vehicle sound makes it very well not fun. Sorry but it takes away from my experience. give it sound and I will give you a 10/10.

Even though sound is cool in my book, I could care less. I just wanna play and kick the crap out of them.

Thanks for the support, RSL, 'preciate it!
Jetseye - I know you probably hate the lack of sounds, but I'm working on a 1.1 update to fix that. I've noticed that Darth Derkie and Rends have working sounds on their vehicles and starfighters. If you guys could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes, great minds must come together to make a great map;)

I had the problem that the map wont show up on the screen (instant actoin). how is that possible .
But it is a great map i like the flying in the map maybe some guys most do that to with there maps.
but i think with a spaceship you can take down a enemy spider walker or something very very fast.
Maybe you could change that. that it takes longer to take down.
for the rest it is a great great map
