More of a reskin than a kitbash, in my eyes. Felucia trooper armor reskin, vanguard helmet reskin.

...it's important to understand that DarthD.U.C.K. feels the same way now - you're having a lot of praise given for what basically amounts to someone else's retexturing job all lumped together onto one texture. You want to photosource a retexture? That's absolutely fine; I've done it too - but it is important to give credit where credit is due and acknowledge that most of the work was done by someone else, and they really deserve the credit.Delta-1035 wrote:I don't want to sound rude but, what does look so incredible? This was at the top of the Glamour Skin Mark V topic this still applies to Mark VI VII etc.
If you are not the original creator of the texture/skin then you must state it here, not just in a release topic. This is about showcasing your original work not so much how you can re-UV someone elses although I am aware that a lot of work goes into UVing properly.Maveritchell wrote:Use this topic to post all your custom textures/skins for SWBF2. Maybe we need to do something similar to what was done in the model showcase topic where you are required to show a wireframe of your model as well as the model itself, in this case it would be a picture of the texture (if it is only shown on a model) that was used, you can watermark it of course to make sure no one else uses it.
It may sound petty but this site has had incidences in the past were people use other peoples work and claim it as their own (not disclosing it also as bad).
I will leave it up to an admin to decide if the rules need to be changed for this topic.
But in the mean time please keep creating, a lot of these skins are truely wonderful and it is a great showcase for your talents.
