Signatures?

I beleive I heard that these were disabled before for abuse, but maybe we could have them again? maybe only text signatures w/ very small picures. I don't know, but something tells me the whole site would lag.

It may even add to the expense to the site, I don't know, I'm just guessing. Possiblity? :jawa:

No offense, but I really don't see any use for sigs. It's just someplace for people to put pointless messages.

Yeah if you look at the locations some people have, sigs'd probably be weird. XD

Sigs tend to piss me off anyways.

What about 1 line of text with html/bb code to stick an xfire add friends or web-link?

Signatures are pointless and annoying especially when somone is posting a lot in a thread, it looks messy and I don't want to read or have in front of me some pointless quote or picture. It adds nothing to the topic. If if you want to say something say it in your post or profile. I think re allowing sigs would be the start of a slow decent into the mess that some lesser forums have become. Your avatar and style of writing probably says more about you than some sig would.

No offense taken

, as several do just that with them. That is the main problem with them, along with the fact they really lag sites. Though some can be usefull, like having a link to one's mod site or something.

Thats what I meant, really, something small that wouldn't slow GT down. I'm not crazy about them, just was wondering what everyone else wanted as well.

Very true, another main problem with them.
