What i meant by making the textues "less boring" was adding detail to the halways. Maybe making the bottom part of them have a "dirty look" to it and stuff.

detail? Hmmm...I might think about it...but remember, it's the inside of a senator's home, so it won't really be dirty.

Models tend to look like that in xsi guys. Give it a shot in game with lighting and a more 3d appearance. I can almost guarantee you'll be able to see it fine.

Your map will have ground when you put it in ze, the map editor.
models are placed in ze, usually as props. I wouldnt suggest making an open city map out of models.

Yeah someone should make a map where you can completely destroy it with the deathstar
I hate Alderaan, Leia came from Alderaan.

@ GalacticMarine --- I would separate each of those modes when you export. It will make things much easier for doing more city-based maps. For example: a quick texture replacement on those models and you've got a great setting for Bothawui.

Not a bad idea at all: Imagine a mode with imperial suicide commandoes who try to hold a position with a targeting beacon long enough to allow the Death Star to destroy Alderaan, while Rebels & Civilians & Security forces attempt to kill them all...this would be like 10 commandoes(which are completely overpowered) against 200 enemies at one time.

GAAH! Something like this would happen only to ME! Ok, so I've just corrected my models, when I hit a problem. So I have two primary textures: one with windows and one without windows. When I tried to export my model, the one with windows disappeared off my model, and was replaced by the one without windows. Either that, or it was moved so that I couldn't see any windows. Is there any way I can just delete everything my model had to do with textures and start the texture process over?

Off topic really quick--Why would you need a recon droid beacon beacon? It's kinda hard to miss a
planet...

Whatever happened to targeting systems!?
Anyways. Like Tean said, I really hope that you will separate the buildings. For the hallway textures being boring, here's a suggestion for you. Make the interior more white, and the walkways can stay the color that they are, but there's something that you should do to it most of it.
Create segments in the wall. The wall seriously can't be just one piece! The walkway bottom needs lines in them. Duracrete warps under heat.

If it's segmented, it will swell and not crack and eventually break. Add a railing to the walkway too. To the walls where it's not inside a room, make it white and shiny and in segments, like metal sheets.
Just an idea.

Wow! You've got this down to a science...ok, I'll think about it, but why is everyone insisting on the idea that the city is damaged? This is supposed to be the beginning of the infiltration, so not much damage is done yet....
