I am trying to use Rep's Mesh Exporter, and he says that you need to make a null the parent of your object
How do I do this?

I believe you create a null called dummyroot and just drag all your objects under it. May you have best of luck with MshEx-I didnt. :runaway:

You need to make a null. Open the scene explorer. Rename it dummyroot. Now (in the scene explorer) drag all of your items into dummyroot.

How do I open Scene explorer?
If I go to Modify>Selection When I click on something it opens it's properties

Either Push 8, or, if you're in the 4 view thing (Push F12 to enter this, if you're not already, much better than just one view), go to one of the four views, and where it says what direction it's looking at the model from (Top, Right, Front, or User/Camera), little arrow, look down until you see Explorer, and click on it.

There's no need to be insulting. I'm sure someone who isn't aware yet of what XSI explorer would have trouble understanding you instructions, therefore they needed clarity.
