Whenever I try to start a server for SWBF on my Windows 98 PC I get this strange error:

However I can run a SWBF2 server perfectly fine.

I heard that battlefront.exe is causing an internal buffer overflow, but I have no idea how to fix this. Any help would be appreciated.

I am afraid Windows 98 is too old OS for swbf1 server and for game aswell

That is really odd. I can run a SWBF2 server perfectly fine.

I don't have the games installed on that computer. I am using this old computer as a server only.
