I guess not because I don't have any idea what wave dashing means. I used to be incredibly good at the original game with Pikachu, but I'd say I'm only OK at Melee. I'm not as quick as I used to be but then again I use the control stick to jump while most people I play use the X and Y buttons so I'm not sure if that makes any sort of difference. I'm expecting to be good at Brawl though since the characters have been balanced out and the fighting speeds have been lowered a bit.

When were those spoilers posted? For the record I'm skeptical because to me it sounds like one of the million fan-boy wishes I've come across on the internet. If this came before the Dragoon update however then maybe I'd be a bit more willing to believe them.

But if they're true...

-Falco? Boo! I thought they said no clones? I'd rather he be an Assist Trophy anyway.
-Wolf... I'd rather see Krystal as a playable character with her staff.
-Lucario could be interesting but he's not nearly as iconic as Mewtwo, who could be so much better in Brawl if they've actually balanced out the characters. A lot of Pokemon fan-boys have been clamoring for Lucario though so what do I know? Blaziken would have been better.
-One of the developers already said that they'd put together Sheik and Ganondorf models so no surprise there. I just hope Ganondorf has his own move set this time.
-Ness? Again, I thought they said no clones? If they were to abide by this then Ness would have to have a completely different move set because Lucas has inherited his old moves.
-Captain Falcon returning is a given.

Wave dashing?

It's some sort of crazy technique involving the air dodges. If you want to know more about it, I think there's an explanation of it on Gamefaqs. I personally have never been able to do it, and I don't care to anyway, since it doesn't fit my playing style.

And the Took Out Mewtwo!!! Diet Dr. Pepper!!! I'm not a Pokemon Fanboy but Mewtwo in Melee was sweet, he was in my top five

The post itself was made immediately after the update concerning a stage builder had been posted to the Dojo. I obviously reposted this here just now because its legitimacy as insider info would seem to be confirmed by the correct-to-the-T prediction about the Dragoon.

I can WD, but not very well. Which is too bad, I suppose, because I main Marth (in addition to YL, sometimes). I really only use WDing sometimes to edgehog, because otherwise it just distracts me from my own game. I'm good at L-canceling, which I figure gives me enough of an advantage over the average player for me not to need much else.

There's been no announcement other than what's on the Dojo. When Melee was being revealed, only non-secret characters were announced prior to release. If Brawl follows the same pattern of having Jiggs, Luigi, Falcon, and Ness as unlockables, then it would make sense that he's not been announced.

I'm remember reading somewhere that even though Snake, Sonic, and the third third party character are announced they'll still be unlockable.

Yeah, but everyone's read something "somewhere." Sakurai (or the Dojo, or Nintendo, or any reputable source) has never said anything like that, ergo, it's not set that way. Plus, I'd have a hard time believing Sonic would be unlockable since:
a) He's a huge franchise's main character and, more importantly,
b) He wasn't unlockable in the E for All SSBB demo

Snake wasn't in the E for All demo, so technically he could be unlockable, but I would be inclined to believe that the same pattern as last time, with only non-unlockables being revealed, is what's being followed now.
