Norton's Download Insight

Post by sim-al2 »

If any of you have a more recent version of Norton AV, you would know that it's download protection is just *slightly* too aggressive if you download lots of files. Unfortunately it seems to think that most of the .exe installers used for SWBFII are malware of some kind and considers them to be medium or high risk. At least with most of the files I can go back and restore them so i can install the map/mod, but Norton just deletes Battlefront Zero instantly without asking or warning and I can't restore it. I don't want to disable Insight completely but restoring files gets old quickly. Is there someway to prevent Norton instant deleting files permanently or will I have to disable it for at least long enough to download and install everything? :cpu:
