Re: Micridia: Giant Planet
Take a wild guess. If caleb said it didnt work, then do you think it worked?

Woa...kinda like the Picture of the Day on swbf.filefront. But wouldnt it be possible to just create new model and give it animations?

Re: Micridia: Giant Planet
It would, but the skill level needed to make something like a rancor from scratch would be very high.(JPI)SWBF Map Grader wrote:Woa...kinda like the Picture of the Day on swbf.filefront. But wouldnt it be possible to just create new model and give it animations?

Well, can you import from other games?

Yes, but
1. It'd likely break the EULA of whatever game you're importing it from.
2. You'd still have to make new animations for it.

Re: Micridia: Giant Planet
What if it already has an animation? I saw that there is a rancor in Rise of the Empire video game. And what is EULA?

Re: Micridia: Giant Planet
You could just give it the wampa skeleton and scale it, for animations.
EULA stands for End User License Agreement, basically a legal document telling you what you can and can't do, to and with the game and its sources.

Re: Micridia: Giant Planet
I am glad to see this map making progress. You finally filled it up which makes it a lot better. Are you going to post a beta soon, because I would be happy to. Also, you could possibly make some secret areas in this map inside the rancor city and such. Good work so far!

Re: Micridia: Giant Planet
As for the wookie falling fast and running fast, that can only be accompished intentially meaning he wanted it that way.

Re: Micridia: Giant Planet
maybe not, if the Wookiee got scaled, but still moved at the normal unit speed, he would appear to move crazy fast.
I think.

I'd download, but my computer with BF 2 on it doesn't work at the moment. Looks great, though.

Re: Micridia: Giant Planet
Ok, you need to hold the bug zapper for it to work.shockwave88 wrote:w00t! thanks ill tell you everything glitched and messed up i can find!
glitches i have found: the wookiee's saber flats like an inch below his hand that definately needs to be fixed
the bug zapper thing doesnt work
the poison bubble thing doesnt work most of the time and when it does it shoots like a foot above his head
the remote turret cameras dont work
whenever the wookiee attacks he sinks into the ground to his knees
the wookiee walks fast like really fast and runs super fast
things that can be improved on: the map is super bright
the ewok could be taller some of the predaters were taller than it!
fix the conquest an cw modes!!! i would love to test the new units!
btw i have pics on my xfire screenshot gallery my xfire name is shockwave8
The saber problem of the wookiee won't be fixed by me, It's not exactly something I can do. These turrets do work, you just have to use the wookiee, the ewok cant enter them as of yet.

As of updates:
I am back and I am slowly working out the bugs and will hopefully have both conquest modes working today.
Another tip: Use lock on with the bubbles. They will for the most part work like the magna guard rockets, in terms of lock on.
