Should I make it a blood red or keep that hue? Does anyone have tip for making this map less laggy without removing anything? :?

You should make it blood red, Ipod'!

I like that current hue, its very pretty, and looks more like a shield than blood red would, at least I think so..

I think the first one was cooler, but this still looks good

What about it makes it cooler? I think this one looks like the ones you see in KOTOR....

The red (like someone else previously said) makes it look more like a shield and the bolder first color of red just looks cooler than the other one to me

Yeah, I have to agree, the first one looks a bit neater. The reason why is because the first one is a flat texture, and the shineyness and whatnot really makes it look great. The second one doesn't have that shineyness, and it loses effect. Though I think ingame this might be a different story, as the picture's lack of shineyness could simply be due to the angle.

Try raising the alpha of the shield to give it a crisper color.

man, I installed the RDD thingy to the Addon folder though the setup thing, nice bg with the commando and all, but it wont show up in my level selection menu.

What is the FX folder?

Did you make a folder called RDD and install it into the folder....I already stated this if that's the problem.... So does anyone have anymore critiques?

-what do you mean about the FX folder? You don't need an FX folder to make this map work...

Check. Still no signs of the level.

did you go into your addon folder to check?

EDIT:

did you use winace? you need to use it or it will NOT work, I'm sick of telling this over and over again, this will be my last time saying that you need to use WINACE, it's free and works with zip files too.... please tell me if that's the problem...

you could also use WinRAR. If you have got WinRAR you are prepared for any kind of new map.

Have you also checked whether there are too many addon maps in your folder ? Especially the new BF I conversion pack adds a lot of them - I think the limit was 54.
