Name Error Help

I installed the BF2 Conversin pack, with the patches, but all the new maps just have bits of code for names
Is the a way to fix this?

Trying it now........
It has fixed the names, but now there is no Kotor Button whatsoever, and there are only the Conquest, Flag 1, Flag 2, Assalt, Hunt and XL Buttons, none of the new ones that were installed with the GT Conversion pack!!! What Now!! How do i fix this?

Reinstall the convo pack. Updating overwrites some files the convo pack needs.

Don't do that. Just install the 2.2 patch.

I have renistalled the converpack,
It has fixed it, but there are no names for the new game modes/Classes.
Only ... well... blankness
and tips? or is this normal???
and by the way, which map packs, don't need to be unziped? This is just a foot note, but i cant unzip folders any more. I Can use theem if they have an auto installer, so if there are any out there that do that, please tell me after you have helped me sort this out.

exept for the vesus mode on galatic conquest. If I click any thing it starts me on clones. and i cant change anything... but i dont mind taht

i dont know any mappacks per say but Mav's Dark Times has an Installer
-and BFX also has one
-battlefront zero is in a 7z format whixh is like an installer

do any of you know what went wrong with this? I installed the patch to get Kotor galatic conquest, but I only got theone for the old republic, and when ever i go to fight on a planet that got installed with the conversion pack, the game crashes and shuts down! can any of you help me?
I need to fix this before i install any new maps...

Sorry but i'm a bit curious now. Why can't you unzip folders? Doesn't 7-Zip work?

for some reason, my unzipper doesn't work, it installes the zip folder, but looks like a white page, with a globe on it. When you click it it opens a hundred and fifty web browsers, and crashes the computer. I *can* install the coversion patch, 2.2 patch and KOTOR conquest, because it comes from File planet, and it has its own program to install them, and They have installers...
They do work if they have a self unzip, i think...

Are you using WinRAR or 7-Zip?

I have no idea... It doesnt work, i cant find it. But It is what ever comes free with windowns Vista, but i think 7 zip, The self unzipper for 7 zip works, but i cant activate it, it needs to do it auto maticly.
If it is a small file, I can install it on my brothers computer, as it does work on his, then i can transfer it to my computor, after un zipping it.
That has worked, thanks! Can you tell me why my Versus option keeps crashing my computor?
Edit:
Yes that has worked, and now it does crash either! I can now start 7Zip self unzipper, manualy, but i cant extractr them manualy.
Why doesnt my versus work?

Just a reminder, if you want to switch factions or Galactic Conquests:
"custom_gc_5.lvl" is the "Jedi Civil War" - the Old Republic Galactic Conquest
"custom_gc_6.lvl" is the "Advent of the Sith" - the Sith Empire Galactic Conquest
If you want to play one or the other, make sure its file is in the "GameData\DATA\_LVL_PC" folder (the folder outside this folder). You CANNOT have two separate custom Galactic Conquests running at the same time, so when you want to switch, move the one you're NOT playing to this folder, and the one you want to play to the "_LVL_PC" folder.
By default, "custom_gc_5," the Old Republic GC, will be enabled.

There should be a file in your _LVL_PC folder titled "custom_gc_6". If you swap this with the "custom_gc_5" in the KotORGalacticConquest folder, it should switch to the Advent of the Sith Galactic Conquest.
