Re: Yavin IV: Plateau
Bugs found for the 2nd beta:
- some rocks are stil floating on the top of the mountain
- the new rebel weapons have the stock FPM for me, and the new weapons aren't localized
- the flashspeeder has chunks but no explosion
- the civilian aren't localized
- some danttoine grass objects are floating
For the vote, I'd like to see a foggy environnement/fx at the down of the mountain and around the lake.

Re: Yavin IV: Plateau
I'm using the french version of SWBF2, so here is the problem...
Also, some other bugs found:
-The tunnel entrance on the top of the mountain has too much foilage and too many object: I can't see anything!
-The flashspeeder weapons aren't localized
-The GCW XL crashs when I select Luke.
-In the GCW Order 66, the Cultist isn't localized and the Hooded Jedi has a problem on the textures of his pants. Also in the team selection screen, the Jedi aren't localized, but in the unit selection screen they are.
Those pictures are more explanative:

Hmmm, I didn't see a 2nd beta sign-up, did you choose testers yourself? Anyways... the random weather conditions look great. Did you add the Kamino thunder sound and rain FX to the rainy condition?

It's looking great acryptozoo, keep it up
If it's random weather, he couldn't really do that, and as it's conquest mode it will use the same lua.script for all weather fx.R8-Q88 wrote:Hmmm, I didn't see a 2nd beta sign-up, did you choose testers yourself? Re: Yavin IV: Plateau
Ok, here's what I noticed:
-Lots of floating objects such as foliage, rocks, gun icons, etc
-Hero Assault, I don't think this map needs it. Its too big of a map to do it correctly.
-While I was playing on XL, some of the weapons didn't have any sound when I was shooting them.
-One of the gamemodes crashed while I tried playing it, I can't remember which one it was though.
-Maybe some localization problems
Other than that, not much. I haven't played all the gamemods yet but I will get to them eventually.

Re: Yavin IV: Plateau
Being the uber geek that I am, I am big into science and now about how things works. I consider myself an amtuer astronomer, I know way too much. Long story short, I know how planets in SW work, and yavin VI (well its moon) Is a favorite. In my tcw mod I added a special kind of night, where the sun is down, but yavin is still In the sky, to the stock yavin. This creates this dusky night, where everything is bathed in an orange glow. I would add that.

Re: Yavin IV: Plateau
I'm not sure if anyone has posted this:
When you play the mode Order 66, you spawn as the Empire's Dark Jedi and attempt the Jump-Attack move you lose the ability to attack, jump, force and sprint (I think you lose Sprint, can't remember) and another thing about one of the Jedi (the Unlocalized one) is that one of them has "Transparent" legs, I believe that this is caused by inverted polygons.
