I know this is supposed to be the 'realm of chaos' or something, but magma spewing factory surrounded by frozen mountains? :|

i really just don't think the mod tools like me. i'm getting a serious error already, even tho i haven't started doing sides or vamping ai or anything. i just finished the design and i'm getting this...

i got rid of it once by deleting some doors but now i added cps, planning, and such and now i can't seem to get rid of it. please does anyone know how to get rid of this!!!??!?

If i can't fix it. this project is in the trash can.

well....i'm trying to delete all unnecessary objects.....so far it isn't working...i'll post either if i fix the problem or I cancel or change the status of the project.

Btw: I am working on 3 other projects as well, but I don't have enough info on em yet to make a WIP but they include a new version of my Cage Map as well as a new version of Hypori: Grievous Attacks, as well as a possible Pepperland: Acid Trip.

Where does the error occur in relation to the other parts of the log? Is there any things around it that may give a hint as to what it is trying to load?

the thing is that there isn't anything that hints what its being affected by. It's an extremely general error, and i basically ahve to keep removing objects until it works or until i can't remove anymore with out taking out major parts of the map, at which point, it has to be cancelled

This may not be related to the amount of objects, it is a stringDB error which would be more function related and not the normal memory pool size errors we all get at on point or another. Is it possible a decimal point or comma got deleted in something you have edited? With out knowing much about you map except for the screenies you have posted I doesn't look as though you would have many more objects than say Del would have had in his Raxus Prime or in his new one Imperial Base. I could be wrong on this I am just throwing suggestions out there as I really enjoy playing your maps and I would be a shame if you had to cancel this one it looks really good.

Well, think back. Did you use any objects that you have never used in a map before? Do you rely heavily on any one object? Did you use any msh.option calls?

I have used 1 paticular wall odf quite frequently. but before the crash i added cps and planning.

Well, you didn't say that. It is quite possible that the error occurs there. You double-checked the .lua cp section right?

yes, but it crashed once before with that error, and i fixed it by removing unneeded objects and some animated doors. then it crashed again when i added cps, planning and a couple barriers.

Wow, I REALLY hope you figure out this problem. It would stink SO bad if you had to cancel this map. :cry:
Btw, IMO, you really should include your "chaos" sides, (THEY PWN!!).
Maybe you could have a different "mode" for the "traditional" players. (?)

I am sad to announce that this project is now dead. There will be no map release of any kind for this map, except a possible release of its assets. When I release its assets, if someone is able to get it to not crash contact me immediately.

oh yes of course, The Cage Map 3.0 for the mappack is coming on nicely and pepperland is also make slow progress.

Well at least that is good news(about the pepperland and cage map), still sad about this it looked good. RIP
