I am not even sure what thats supposed to mean.
It means, quite frankly, that this map is awesome.
Ah. Understood. The question mark had confused me.

He asked a question. Question marks typically go at the end of questions.
Nice find on those terrain textures! I'll have to check out that web site some more.

Since if it was in question form, it would make little sense, I didnt understand. Anyway.

For those who haven't figured it out yet I am helping him(Marth) with the Sol map-pack, I'm also making a couple maps for the pack, I'm working on one now. I will start up a WIP when its 50% complete.

Perhaps I'm just slow, but I didn't get it. Thanks for the clarification.

Out of curiosity, why is it called Sol: Luna? Everyone I know just calls it "The Moon." Sol: Luna sounds like something out of Mass Effect. Not that that's a bad thing, but I don't know if there was some scientific conference officially naming the solar system "Sol."

Marth and I prefer to refer to things by their Latin name, Sol(Sun), Luna(Moon), Terra(Earth) etc. If we were to name the systems, I would imagine we would do it by star name. So, logically, we are in the Sol System. No, its not official, but Marth and I find it a lot less boring than the Sun system, Earth, and The Moon. Which, we refer to our moon as
The Moon because at one time it was the only moon. Now there are hundreds of moons that we know of, so calling it
The Moon doesn't seem right to me, since its not the only one.

Like I said, it's not a major point - just seems a bit odd to me. His earlier map was Earth: Pioneer Trails, after all, not Terra Trails or something.

Anyway, "Moon" in Latin still means "Moon".
Yeah, my bad, I should have said Luna(The Moon). A Moon is a Moon is a Moon. Luna is the goddess of something or another I forget and I am too lazy/busy to look up.

...The moon...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selene
In Roman mythology, the moon goddess is called Luna, Latin for "moon".
xD
Anyway, map looks fantastic. Though, I'm not sure about the openness of it... I mean, if you get in the AT-AT or AT-TE, it seems like you can hit just about everywhere. Even if you they hide behind rocks, a shot to the side of the rock gets you doused with splash damage. It seems about as open as Hoth, yes, but at least at Hoth, you can go inside to dodge the tanks, and the tanks had an objective (kill shield generator) before they started slaughtering the ground units.

WULFMAN,you're technically wrong, our sistem has a name, the Solar System and Moon is the name of our natural satellite, not a class of celestial body so it's correct call it Moon.

No, technically I am not wrong. It is unoffical to call our system the Sol System, it is used by some people like Marth and I, however The Sol
ar System is the "correct" official term. When I said "if were we to name the systems" I was refering to something Marth and I had talked about. Sorry for the confusion, I should have mentioned that.
And Moon is the name of our natural satellie, I never said it wasn't. What I was saying is that Luna is the "real" name of our Moon. And yes, Technically
Moon is a "class" of celestial body.
Ontopic/ Marth and I have talked about putting in some caves, which would provide cover from the heavy vehicles.

Luna has a cave (thanks to Sky) and another command post now!

Having a cave is all well and good, but that dead end is going to make for some pretty horrid gameplay whenever a team gets down to just that command post. I highly recommend adding a second entry point somewhere in the map.

Agreed, and I'd say go for more than two entrances. General rule of thumb when designing multiplayer levels: when possible, try to have at least three ways to get to any important location on the map.

Alright, so here is the fixed tunnel system (note: the order is for some reason bottom to top):

Why'd you put the CP upside-down?

Sometimes an arrangement like that
does look cool, but here, especially considering the perfectly fine, flat ground under it, it just seems pointless.
Nice cave, though.
