I added the model of the horns to that, but I Got nothing.

I think you have to hex-edit the horn MODL chunk into the soldier's msh file?
But I'm not well-versed in this area.

I just want a Tantive fiur, rebel solider, that has the head of a torgrunta... Are there any volunteers?

So you still want the same colours on the face of the Iridonian, but you want the head to be that of the second pic?

If so, all I need is the texture that you have on the Iridonian, and the MODL chunk of the head you want.

No, no!

The iradonian was just out of interest, to show you what MY hero was like.

I am requesting a Msh, so I can make one for my brother as well. He looks like the one in the pick... the torgrunta.

His character name is Jack Knight, and he will be a solider, but I don't want him to look like storm trooper.

Just like the tantive rebels.

just a side note, its not neccessery, but could you use as fewer pieces as possible? To make skinning easier.

So to recap, all I need you to do, Is Hexedit the head of shaak ti, to the body of a tantive rebel.


And if you have time, edit the face of shaakt ti to look more like the pictre above. The torgrunta.


The Iradonian, was just to show off realy...... to show you what I was up to. Ignore it. It is not important.

little request of new anim:
modify walk pistol anim for when walk he move his left arm the same way he move the right one :) (so will look more realistic for dual pistol anim)

Normally I don't like asking for requests, but I'm making a map and I was wondering who the creator of these house models is:

I don't want to sound like I'm hunting them down for their assets, but I'm in a severe asset shortage and these would fit in indescribably well. Pic is from the DMI showcase thread. If you're the creator of these models, would you consider sending the mshs to me? I would be eternally grateful, as currently the only house models I have are a fair-quality pile of wood and plaster, and four or five invisible ones (obj import bug - don't ask). The ones in this pic surpass the quality of anything I've seen yet.

If, on the other hand, you are not the maker of these houses but know where I can get a few, please, drop me a PM.

did you look into squeddies assetspack?, eddie used some custom hosues in his italia map

(i dont think the house in the screen is from there though)

You can hex edit anything as long as it is a separate chunk and is being to attached to a bone (in this case bone_head). Mav did it with the Duros and Mon Calamari in DT.

I haven't looked there for assets for this map, though I have run through it for other things. What really interests me about the houses in the pic is that they're medieval; Eddie's Italia assets are slightly more modern.

Ah, another request (lookie, two in two days). I have some .max and .3ds files that need converting into .obj. Is there anyone here with 3dsmax who wouldn't mind the job? I tried using blender to convert the .3ds files, but for some reason they didn't work (showed up invisible).

EDIT: Ah, also a .lwo file. That's Lightwave, I think. Something goes wrong when I try importing it into XSI with XSI's lwo importer - it comes out as only two meshes, which is wrong, and it's missing some polies. If you can convert any of these files to .obj, please, send me a PM.
