They should make you make a buzzing sound.
@HaloCEA: Looks cool, I like the sound of it. I hope it's also for pc, but doubt it. And ya, The other 8 or so maps will be DLC. Diet Dr. Pepper Microsoft.
I'm slow catching up. I've been going off IGN's text blog off a friend's iphone at work. There's so much info I know don't know where to start.
It sounded like Microsoft had a decent conference this year compared to last and EA's was cool minus the lack of something new for TOR.
My thoughts later.

Yep, that and doing nerdy one-handed swings. Still, I gotta say visually the game looks good aside from the player character and lightsaber glow.

Can someone summarize the Microsoft and Sony conferences? I'm sitting in a hotel right now with limited access to such things and all I get from this thread so far is OMG HALO 4 AND CEA! Which is totally fine, but I know that didn't take up hours of conference time.

Microsoft:
*Kinect augmentation - a lot of mainstream titles were shown using Kinect to augment things rather that being the full controller, such as doing squad commands in Mass Effect 3, the camera moving with the player's head in Forza Motorsport 4, or taking a gun apart in Ghost Recon. Very cool stuff
*Kinect Star Wars - Set in the Clone Wars, player seems to be a generi-jedi
*Fable: The Journey - an on-rails Kinect game
*YouTube, Bing, and Live TV coming to the dashboard
*More Kinect stuff - no kidding
*Halo CEA
*Halo 4
Didn't bother to watch Sony's. There just aren't any titles on the PS3 that interest me.

Just saw the Ubisoft conference, Sony is up next. They showed an awesome co-op demo of Ghost Recon Future Soldier, and they anounced Far Cry 3 which was the big surprise of the show, and looks more like a true sequel to the first game. Assassin's Creed Revelations also looks really polished and ended the show with a trailer, and demo set in Constantinople. So far though Battlefield 3 is my most anticipated game of the year, it just looks amazing.

I was happy to see that my friend was right, that we would get a nice ingame TOR trailer, rather than the overly expensive and unnecessary yet still really cool CGI trailers. I personally dont care for the expanded EU before TPM, so I wont be getting TOR. I still think it looks awesome though.
I have come really close to convincing my dad to get me an Xbox 360 for my 18th birthday, so Its nice I might be able to get some of the awesome games I have been missing out on, like the Halo series.

So no news on SWBF3? What a surprise...

Still got four more days.
I watched M$ conference and I was ok with it. Nothing too crazy. I did like how the kinect has evolved. TV is guess is cool. Halo 4 was the only surprise, but boy did they move game to game fast.
I'm watching Sony's now, and I don't know why (I joined an hour late), because I never enjoy it. Call me a nintendo fanboy if you want, but you can't argue that this line by Kaz is so wrong. He's talking about PS Vita and it's front and rear facing cameras and augmented reality and how it's the first in the market. Uh, what? 3DS much?
I'm going to watch EA's and Ubi's later.

Halo 4...Duke Nukem Forever...seems like a good year for SWBF3 too right?
Anyway, I'm pumped about the Halos, MW3, BF3, and SWOR. Ghost Recon actually looked pretty sweet.
Anyone else happier more than ever to have an xbox? I certainly am. The new stuff coming to Xbox looks sweet.

Thanks Staff.
Wow, I feel bad for those in Europe. The PSvita is $249.99 here and 249.99 euros there. Talk about not using the currency conversion factor.

I'll bet ten grand they don't show SWBF3. They've already got two big titles at E3: Kinect Star Wars and The Old Republic.

Something like SWBF3 would've leaked if it were to be announced. There will be no SWBF3.

I think LA could show off more titles. Bioware is fully making one of them and they didn't even bring new info to the table. The kinect, I'm uncertain on. I do know that the podracing should have been a separate game and fully fleshed out.
LA has to be hiding something.

LA is hiding Batman. They're prepping him for his "kick-everyone-at-FOX-News-in-the-face" mission.

This one? Looks like a "cool CGI trailer" to me (despite the heavy use of clips from the previous two trailers).

That is not what I watched....
So, Upsides include, it looks cool and they wasted less money by reusing footage from the first two trailers.
Downsides, they still wasted some money, and I see a lot of stuff that could have been redone stuff from the Original Trilogy, Prequels, and TCW. I see a human Cad Bane piloting an older Millennium Falcon flying through a not death star and battling not tie fighters in a not asteroid field and not evading star destroyers. Oh, I see clones too! *Sighs*
I know what they are doing, trying to get you more into the game and for it to feel more familiar, but they went too far many times I think.
Regardless of the above, the game itself looks awesome and may be one of the best MMOs,
suck it WOW!
