It only just occurred to me recently, can you re-color, or for that matter, edit in any way, a kama without using a modeling program. I always thought that you could, but I only recently did I find that there were no .tga files.
I sort of touched on thsi next question but, how does one edit a kama?
Any help would be appreciated.

There are tga files for kamas. Open up the msh file for a unit with Notepad and do a search for "tga" to find all the textures used by that character, including any textures used for cloth.

It is possible to ad transparent parts to a cloth/make it look different by making parts completely transparant;
