1st off you need to be in your BASE layer of your world. then ....
-In Zeroeditor go to the LIGHTING tab
-On the LEFT hand tab select Dir lighting and place it where you choose
-Name it (i named mine 'Sunlight' )
-Turn shadows to 'YES'
-Now, on the Right hand tab put your name (eg. Sunlight') in the Direction 1 box .

Hey do you use the Kotor textures? And will it be the same map?

At the mo' its just a Dantooine test map

I extracted the 'cliff' textures with the kotor tool.
Im hopin to have it very much like the KOTOR map except the jedi enclave being a converted Rebel base ... like what they did with the massassi temple on yavin.
Teancum or Guru can you make this a Sticky - icky ?

@ Bandu -- what I'll probably do is what we did with BF1 modding. This topic itself won't be a sticky, but in the FAQ sticky there will be a link to here.

Bandu,can you post a zeroeditor screenshot and mark the settings you have changed. I still don´t get shadows on my map.
EDIT: Never mind. i had a typo error,lol.

i was hoping to see some kotor maps
im not much of a mapper but im a good enough modeler so i was thinkin of doin some kotor space maps, i already started doing the ravager aka darth nihilus' flag ship. im also gonna do the 2 republic cruisers and also the sith interdictor cruiser and all the fighters to go along with it

OK... what am I doing wrong? (Yes I did place my light where the sun would be...) I'm still not getting shadows...
EDIT
It wasn't my map that was causing the problem... It was my graphics settings... It's all good now!
