Overiding texture and Hex editing not working
I put it in my ODF here it is.
[GameObjectClass]
ClassParent = "rep_inf_default_faie"
[Properties]
GeometryName = "rep_inf_ep3armoredpilot"
GeometryLowRes = "rep_inf_ep3armoredpilot_low1"
FirstPerson = "REP\reptroop;rep_1st_trooper"
OverrideTexture = "rep_inf_commander_faie"
Is there something that doesn't make the clone engineer overridible? and if there is how do I make it so I can Overide it?
thanks

RE: Overiding texture not working
OverrideTexture has to be built into the model AFAIK. It doesn't work with clones.

Is frhed.exe free?
BTW Not to hijack this or anything but.
When I tried to hex edit my bed msh, it messed it up royaly.
Now ZE won't load the map >.<
and yes it was the same amout of characters as the originaly called .tga.
All this means is that I now have to bug Qdin to Export it again.
Also I used this trial program "Ultra Edit"

Ah yes, I downloaded fehed, and I could see it worked diffrently, every time I changed a.. um Alphabetical? value a number across from it also changed.
Only thing is it still dosn't seem to work, is it bad if an old version of the msh is used in ZE?
As in, now I would have to open the world file and delete the bed's call?
Ah ha! I found the problem. Me trying to hex edit the file with Ultra Edit, broke the msh, even after I used frhed, that couldn't save it, still broken.
So I hunt down where I backed up my msh, and made anouther copy, hexed it, the moved it into my worlds folder.
ZE loves me again.
So my Hijack can oficaly end.
sorry Egg_Guts
