Hey guys, i have a really bad problem with my modtools.

nothing i munge work or is localized (all appears as [NULL] also the map on the list is ABC%% and i have the 1.1 also the 1.3)

So i decided to try a thing that should have worked, created a new map without cange nothig of that yavin-plain-thingy with 4 cps + the cis side (..dc:CIS\..) BUT munging this CIS side only with the stock assets that came with the mod tools.

It didn't work.

The map crashes after the loading (also the loading is not localized there are only 2 [NULL]).
But how is possible that crashes a map with nothing changed + a side munged with the stock assets and without changes?

Well that's my problem, i thought of reinstall the mod tools and also bf2 but the problem is always the same.
maybe because i have win7? i dont think so, a friend of mine has win7 and the mod tools works fine.

Anyway the BFront2.log of that map without sense gives me only an MessageSeverity3, this one: but the maul anims files there are on the side\muged folder since is the stock side base without changes!

sorry, i maybe did not explain it very well but thats a very odd problem i dont know how to explain it, i hope someone can help me.

I,m not a windows & user yet. Here's a few things too try that helpes me with a few problems.

I had nortan anti viurs 2007, which was causing my munge too not munge my sides and maps too 100%. So when disabling NAV2007, My munge worked 100%. I know run 2010 which dont give me problems anymore.

If not, try rebooting the PC, then 1st thing too do is munge. See if that helps.

Aslo updating too the latest video drivers for video card helps too.

Just somethings to try for the time being till the windows7 experts get here.

I have not NAV2007 and rebooting the pc isnt the solution, i have this problem since a lot of time.Thanks anyway, for trying help me ice.


The strange thing is that time ago my mod tools worked well but now i have this odd problem even if i reinstalled it. can anyone help?

The animation thing is sometimes caused by being out of game memory. Do you have other heroes or custom characters in your map?

I have just munged the base map with a "new" cis side made of only the stock assets without any changes.

Out of curiousity, how about some Pc specs?
