Wel theres a little bug with the pilot copilot and hgunner positions tehre a bit to far forward if theres is a way to move the posistions to the back that wuld be awsome cause now the pilot and copilot r partialy in the windshield.
that also awnsers the question: how many people
1 pilot uses the forward guns
2 Passenger
3 Gunner

I'm not sure about positions on a vehicle, but I always figured they were controlled by tags inside the msh file, so it may not be possible.

Wow, I never figured when I showed you the texture that you could actually get the model working and looking great, good job!

The .tga's and .msh files are in the folders along with the Gamorrean and the Gamorrean Axe :wink:

I'm surprices noone ever tried it out - I tihnk it just needs a new .odf :roll: just us ethe one from The Gamorrean Axe :wink: (I want FULL credit for the discovery - lol)

yeh wel i found the texture ages agoo but couldnt find the gd model i actualy found the model by accident im currrently tweaking the weapons and trieing to elt it hover on the right hight cause atm tis a quater sunken into the ground :P im stil wondering if suld release to public XD or first put it in a map.

And im also gonna do the gian speeder again cause i want it to be like in the movie.
Im gonna make it so the main cannon can charge up and when fully chared u can fire a BIG shot that kills an AAT nstantly but then a realy slow recover rate so ud have to make a precise shot :P

Max,

I found the msh file for the rep_hover_combatspeeder_hulk which is a partially destroyed version of what you have shown. The rep_hover_combatspeeder.msh file is a four person speeder type vehicle with pilot, gunner, and two passengers. I have gotten that one in-game with all four slots working, but it is like a regular type speeder without the two engine nacells on the rear that look like wings. Did you edit the hulk msh file to "fix" the damaged parts or is there another msh file that has the vehicle as a whole?

i found the msh in the "ALL" folder and i used the rep texture cause the ALL texture SUx

There are two file sets for the rep_hover_combatspeeder. The one in the REP sides folder is for the 4 seat version of the combat speeder. The one in the ALL side folder is for the vehicle you found. The two sets are named the same.

And looking at it (though it may be obvious already) the textures are exactly the same. I wonder whether the mesh is any different, or if the tags for where players go are the only difference.

Yes, the meshes are quite different. The four passenger one looks like a combat speeder, and the other one looks like the picture. The pilot and passenger points are too far forward for the rep speeder. They appear in the dashboard. The other one has no animation for the forward turret so it does not move when you "aim" it in third person view. The side guns also do not move like the side guns on the fightertank. They look good as props though. And the four seater can be used as a point and shoot transport vehicle. I'm thinking about using it on my current map.

Also, the four seater can only be entered in to from the very rear. Some sort of collisionmesh BIG ball over the vehicle prevents the soldiers from entering from the sides and front.

the thing is i DO have the turret roateing aand the main canons rotateing and stuff and the Combat spefder thing is the GIAN SPEEDER from episode 1 it shot down an AAT in 1 shot im gonna put that in my theed map i got my turrets to work if u want it ul have to w8 cause im puttin it in a theed map :P

The combat speder is also a made up vehicle designed by Pandemic its jsut a red Gian speeder with a roof!!!!!
