I agree. I think it's a bad thing for the most part because of all the reasons you stated. Modders burn out really quickly when they do this. The pressure becomes too much, and/or they get bored with the project. BUT, I have already been a part of or headed 3 successful mods. I don't have a short attention span and I've done this before :)

And you are completely right :) I AM learning along the way. I am experienced with several other engines, but am still learning the mod tools and all the ins and outs of the Zero engine. But I knew I had plenty of resources to find info, or to ask questions.

And MapperLocutus who created Bespin: Urban Canyon, Ruuria: Jungle Ruins, and Geonosis: Freight Dock said he would most likely be available in a month or so. Currently he's busy with http://www.moddb.com/mods/stargate-empire-at-war . And there is another mapper but it is not finalized yet so I don't want to say quite yet.

You have set yourself a high aim and I will be watching your mod because you made me curious. No matter what I'd advise you to maby think about the name of your mod. When you still have so much to do (like yuke mentioned) and thinking about what Teancum said about less staff and less working hours per week, you should maby consider to call it "SWBF 2014 Project". :wink:

Welp. Looks like I missed out on an interesting discussion. :l

Regardless of the fact that whatever I may say have already been covered on previous pages, rendering anything I say virtually useless, I am in fact interested in where this might be headed. Keeping an eye-out.
