I've been trying to make a way so that vehicles can actually be the units but is there even a way I would love to see no rider tanks and speeders fighting

I know one way to do it look in the everything you need to know thread under the 'Force characters into vehicles" and the " Force player into vehicle when entering region" topics

Vehicle Units are possible, just modify this odf. Change the geometry name, weapons and a few camera angles and it should work.

I still havent found it yet how to get properly the units into a vehicle when entering region (there are still craches)
